Have you tried a different cable? What is the External Clock Output set to in HW Setups? Have you tried having Pro Tools sync to the incoming SPDIF signal from the 01V, to see if that works (without WC)?

Have you tried a different cable?

yes several

thay all work when i use the dbx spdif output into the 96 io at 96khz!!

What is the External Clock Output set to in HW Setups?

ext clock output: word clock (96khz)

Have you tried having Pro Tools sync to the incoming SPDIF signal from the 01V, to see if that works (without WC)?
yes

it dysplays 3 messeges

1- sync source is now valid

2-youre hardware does not have sync. check your sync cables or change the clock source

3-clock source source is out of range and the peripherals have been reverted to internal clock. manually reselect the desired clock source after verifying the sync source

if i try to record beforre the 2 last messeges its jus plain noise digital burst of some kind (digital errors no audio)

Just to be clear, you're using a 75ohm cable as the word clock source not the
S/PDIF RCA connector ... is this correct?

Hi Carlos

Did you try to clock the 96 from the Yamaha via word clock?
Also did you try to select Tascam SPDIF Format un the Hardware Setup?
