PTF won't Load, Registry error on Mac
PTF won't load when first started. I get this error"
"Registry error Please ensure this product has been installed properly" This splash screen hits while PTF is scanning plugins. Im running High Sierra, 2.4Ghz dual core, 16GB ram and 1TB SSD. I have the latest ProTools on my I7 MB Pro and runs fine. I wanted PTF on this old Mac just to piddle with. If it weren't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all with PTF. Anyone have any ideas?

An understand spouse, some mics, tube guitar amps, gray foam stuff stuck to the walls, a drum kit, a Mac or two, and an interface. A really understanding spouse!

Mac OSX doesn't have a registry - that's a Windows term. However it does have plists. See this link: https://staxmanade.com/2015/02/mac-e...egistry---ish/
