Default Resizing the Big Counter

Anyway to resize or trim the right and left endcaps of the Big Counter?

I don't care to see the Frame/Tick numbers moving. These numbers whiz by too fast and seem useless during actual record/playback.

The only way to 'hide' these numbers is to move half of the Big Counter off to the right of the screen. Meanwhile, there is a big empty space with no numbers at the extreme left side of the Big Counter that takes up valuable screen space. I'd love to be able to trim that back.

Thanks.
