Profile Surface - Fader Problem
I appologize for the sideways video, but has anyone else come across this issue?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xstYcLH9Fhw Console is OFF, so not an issue related to venue software. This video is run in one of the surface config modes. The only problem channel is the one I manipulate the fader on. You can see by the actions of the other faders that some sensor is going crazy |

Re: Profile Surface - Fader Problem
I've never had anything like that happen before, but does it only happen with that one fader? Watching closely, I noticed that when it was up and the others were moving, the value on the LCD screen for that fader changed as the other faders moved. I couldn't really read the actual value but it seemed to match the position of the other faders as if the console thought you were moving the fader. Maybe it's just the fader sending bad values and needs replacing.

Re: Profile Surface - Fader Problem
This is exactly what it is, the fader needs replacement.

Re: Profile Surface - Fader Problem
Fader seems to send spurious data. But it seem to do that only when in top most position. Maybe bad contact at that position or some dust...
