Default iZotope Denoise and Multichannel files

Hi,

does any one have experience with the iZotope RX Denoiser on multichannel files? Is it really Phase neutral on Multichannel?

And what about the stand alone version and its Batch processing capabilities. Does it really work when feeding it with 5 mono tracks (of a multichannel file) and DeNoise them separately (with the same settings of course)?

I did some Testing and it seems to work, at least it sounded the same comparing the inside PT multi-input processed file and the multi mono Batch processed file from the stand alone iZotope.

But does the PT multi-input mode really work for Multichannel files?

Does anybody know or have experience with this issue?

thx

When I last looked at this around xmas Izotope was listed as stereo only, so I imported into Pro Tools, processed with audiosuite and overwrote original files (after making a copy of course)

cheers

iZotope's denoiser processes channels independently. It preserves singal's phase, so no phase distortions should occur if you process a multichannel file as multiple tracks.
