Default Mojo Video Sync Offset

Is there any way that Digi could put quarter frames in the Avid video offset? My new projector is 2.5 frames out and it would be nice to offet the video to the correct amount just like Quicktime movies.

I wonder how this would work. If the Mojo is frame-locked to a blackburst, how can one trigger an image on a quater or halfframe and still lock to BB?

Did you measure your offset with syncheck using the line-cable? If not the .5 you´re seeing is probably because of the distance between you and the speakers in your room?

In that case your only option is to delay the speakers to get 100% sync figures.

HI Frank yes I measured it with my Syncheck Box. What i'm currently doing is putting a 2 frame video offset then shifting my tracklay by 2 quarter frames. It's a dangerous way to do it. I think your idea pitting in a delay to the speakers is the best way.

Thanks for the advice as always

Paul

mojo is made to work with a avid file
if you can use a avid file you will have no sync problems

if you are using quicktime files it looks better to convert them in quicktime to an avid codec
but you still have a 14 quarter frame offset to fix the lag

i dont understand the question. if it is the avid offset, you are using avid media so no offset there. The projector is adding a 2.5 frame delay then set avid offset to 10 quarter frames, right?

p.s. why are you answering a 3 year old thread?
