PT 7.0 crashes when loading Kontakt - help!

I was using Kontakt as a plug in with PT 6.9 and it worked fine. Now after installing PT 7.0, whenever I try to open a session with kontakt as a plug in, PT "quits unexpectedly" when it gets to the point where it wants to load the kontakt patches. Nothing has changed on my computer since the installation. I've tried all the trouble-shooting I can find but nothing has worked. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue????

I am seeing this as well on my HD system. The work around for now is to create a new project and import all of your tracks into it. You can import the Kontakt track and it won't crash when it loads the samples in this situation. It also might not be a bad idea when quitting to save your Kontakt multi, then remove the plug-in, then do a final save as a work around until this is fixed.

This is happening with Kontakt 1.53. I'm getting Kontakt 2 later today and will try that to see if it's the same.

Kontakt 2 does not suffer from the same issue based on my tests this afternoon. This issue appears to affect Kontakt 1.5 only.
