Default Multitool cursor virtually invisible in midi tracks

I’m venting this again because it is my single biggest criticism and source of frustration in ProTools, spend most of the time looking for the cursor than composing music

+1

Found this using my clients 24" iMac. Loose the cursor in PT which certainly isn't the best situation. I never found this on the 27" iMac with the older OS so I think it is maybe OS/settings specific?

Thing is no one can be more specific because you give zero system information. That's the point behind the 'help us to help you' reference.

I know this to be an application problem not a system issue hence I did not provide specific hardware platform or software version info it’s quite simple the cursor is not visible easily I’ll try another route

It could well be a combination of issues but until you provide system info and actual s/w version info no one can help. There's no such thing as TMI (too much information) when asking for help here. There's plenty of knowledgeable people who can help IF we know what's in your system. We're not mind readers or remote viewers.

Plenty of people put their system info in either their sig file or on their profile page. There's no such thing as a generic answer to problems.

Try another route - fine but don't expect to get an answer with the same amount of info you've given us

Here’s a visual example of the multitool cursor when editing in a midi track it seriously has got nothing to do with my ProTools version, operating system or hardware interface try finding that cursor when your creative juice is flowing
