AUDIO EXPORT FROM FINAL CUT TO PROTOOLS
Hello All,
Is there a way to export audio from Final Cut Pro to pro tools without the DV Toolkit? And have all the tracks on seperate tracks and in the right place, Spotted in the timline where they should be? |

Re: AUDIO EXPORT FROM FINAL CUT TO PROTOOLS
The easiest way to do this is to use Soundtrack which is part of the FC Studio package, if you hit export mix to Soundtrack it appears as a mix with all the tracks lined up as they were in FCP, hit save and go back in to FC, it updates and your away. Its much quicker then importing and exporting in to third part apps. I love pro tools but this way is much easier. If you dont have Soundtrack its well worth checking out the crossgrades apple are offering for the universal production suite, they're practically giving it away.
Regards
