Default Large track count-long closing session times

Film composer with large PT template 400+ midi tracks, 12-13instruments tracks on HDX HDio system. Use PC server that hosts all my samples via VEPro6. Closing my session from cue to cue has been taking long time. 6-7min. Track by track.

Have tried session with absolutely no data (midi or audio). Also tried deactivating all tracks before closing. And many other things. Been on support calls w Avid.

Resolved: apparently having Omnisphere in the plugins folder (for me aax snd vst) removed to the desktop fixed the problem. Avid asked me to try this out. Session with large track count. Opens and closes very quickly now.

I have been struggling with this for awhile. Hope this helps someone else
