They're okay IF available. According to Sweetwater they're no longer available but other sources say they have them and at widely varying prices. Personally I'm partial to the JBL LSR series either the 305's or 308's. I think they're calling them Series 3 something or other nowadays.

Agree also with musicman:IMHO the midrange of the Tannoy images very differently from the JBL's and takes some getting used to. To my ears the JBL's translate more "easily" YMMV

Another nod to the JBL's. Planning on a set of LSR306 for my new mix room(if I need a sub, the Presonus T10 beats everything in that range). I have 305's and they sound very good in a smallish room(12x11). Had a set of 308's and was very happy with them too(only reason I sold them was for a stupidly good deal on Genelec 8050's) I like the Tannoy dual-concentrics a lot(System600A, System800A) but that's more money

How much are you planning to spend for these?

There’s probably better options available out there now at around these same prices.

Personally, I’m partial to the Presonus Sceptre S6s in the under $1,000 price range.

I have a pair of JBL LSR4326's and I love 'em! Clear, balanced sound and you can tune them to your room. There's newer models of similar type available now from JBL. I've always like the JBL sound for its balanced clarity, which is what you want for mixing!

hi ,
price is 149 euros each. What other options are available ?JBL 308 are out of the question for me,was crazy about these ,but then saw its plastic cabin disassembled and the piezo piece they're using for tweeter.Might well being the ****ing best speaker in the price range or the galaxy but ,NO thanks !!!!

Other options are cheapo Presonus Eris E4.5 ,Yamaha cheap range and KRK .I've listen to Yamaha and KRK RP5G3.
I can tell i don't like the KRK at all.Yamaha's HS is mid-ish okay but not really like it either. My current monitors are Event 20/20 passsives.

also listened to Alesis Elevate 5 mkii with material i know very well .Absolutely not for me.
