Using Waves Tune in Audiosuite
Ok, thanks all for bearing with my dumb questions!
So, I am trying to learn the Waves Tune LT plug in. I can't seem to make it work from AudioSuite- it works as a plug-in insert, but when I pull it up in AudioSuite it will not see any selected tracks or regions and nothing happens when I click Play, it won't scan....it isn't seeing the tracks, and I must be doing something wrong but I can't find what that is! Any advice for me? Thanks, this place is a great help. |

Re: Using Waves Tune in Audiosuite
Whenever you use an audiosuite plugin, you can only use the buttons in the audiosuite window (preview, bypass, process). If Waves Tune is anything like processing with auto-tune in graphical mode, you must first engage the tracking in the plugin and then hit the preview button. The audio will get tracked by the plugin, you can do the necessary tuning and last of all you hit the process button.

Re: Using Waves Tune LT in Audiosuite
Just a follow-up here. This is Waves Tune LT, and after talking to Waves Tech Support I find that most of the meaningful functions are not included in the LT version. There's so much that is disabled that it pretty well useless, and I am disgusted. For one thing, there is no mention at all of anything being disabled in the manual, and the Waves website says that it will work from within AudioSuite, which it won't. You can load the plug in from there, but it will not do anything, just sits there. LT only works as a channel insert. The Vibrato section is disabled, and all of the graphics tools except two.
This came with the Gold Bundle, and for that kind of money I think they should give you a plug-in that actually can be used. The website does nothing to make it clear that you'll be getting a much-disabled version, rather it talks about all of the features it has- hardly any of which are really included. Humph. |

Re: Using Waves Tune in Audiosuite
yes i bought it also when Waves sent me an email for a sale on it. I didnt realize LT meant almost all of it was disabled. Complete waste of money. Have never used it since. I do use alot of waves plug ins, but that one soured me. they should have given this away as a free demo. cant believe i paid for it.
