Update: missing, invisible, disappearing tracks in Edit Window only, please help!

All tracks in the track listing to the far left are highlighted blue which means all tracks should be seen in the edit window but several are still invisible--- their channels are there in the mix window and the faders work, etc.
In the current session there are 23 tracks in the list, but only 13 showing in the edit window. In the mix window are all 23 faders! Suggestions or theories on what's causing this problem are sincerely appreciated-

i have the same problem..3 tracks out of 34 do play back but cannot be seen in edit window

I've also had this. It happened to me when there was a mix of different track heights in the Edit window. If I set all the tracks to the same height the "invisible" ones would appear again. I've also had automation lanes visible but not the track itself!!!

PT9 seems to have fixed all this for me.

PT 9 HAS NOT FIXED THIS FOR YOU TOO. just wait that happens again, since we have the SAME sfotware.

Could you please be a little bit more specific around what to do to resolve? i have put all tracks in same height....but nothing back

Have you tried creating a new session and importing session data? If all your other sessions are ok.. this is probably not a bug, but simple session corruption, which is not all that uncommon.
You can do it in the time that it took me to type this post. SB

Maybe some system specs might help you get some help. No one here even knows if you are even in the right forum..
