Output device not shown
Im using protools 12 in windows 10. For other programs(such as Kontakt from NI) shows my output device which is "USB audio DAC". For protools, its not showing on the menu.
Im using Amp : Marantz PM5005 DAC: Rega DAC Speakers : B&W 686 S2 is there anyway I can operate protools without a separate audio interface with this output or do I have to buy separate speakers and audio interface for protools? |

Re: Output device not shown
Pro Tools requires an ASIO audio interface. Does your DAC have an ASIO driver? I'm guessing not.... in which case you can try to use the ASIO4ALL driver to wrap the standard Windows driver. All this is discussed all over DUC and the Web. You can search to find out more about ASIO4ALL with Pro Tools.
Ultimately you are usually better off using a interface with a high-quality native ASIO driver. |
