AAF with clip gain and envelope
Hi
I haven't upgraded to 10 but would like to know if there is the option in AAF import and export to apply the clip gain and envelope separately. Ideally I'd like to be able to go between Pyramix and PT. At present it works very well going to Pyramix linking to the original files and applying clip gain and envelope but going back to PT (v8) isn't so good because it doesn't have that feature. Now with PT10 I'm hoping the transition back and forth could work if that option is there in the import/export. Thanks Andy |

Re: AAF with clip gain and envelope
Yes, PT10 allows you to apply clip gain and envelope (aka rubber banding, volume graphing, etc) separately when importing an OMF or AAF. Definitely a nice improvement from previous versions.
I haven't tried exporting an AAF in PT10 yet, but I would hope and expect that it would include clip gain values. |
