You are in the wrong mode. I will post in a minute about the setup.
It should be 50 samples or something like that not 2 frames.

How does it map to the ICON center section? Or is it a Custom Fader job?

It does map to the center section. I had DMG send me an installer that did map to the center section. I will get him to post it on his website ASAP.

I checked, if you put "Equality" at the top of your plug ins(the first slot) this RTAS plug has a delay of 47 samples if it is the "Digital " mode on the front bar. There are 5 other settings that can cause the delay to rise such as "Linear Phase".

Wow. I really like this. I just tried it on a nasty sounding scratch track to see if I could make it sound halfway decent. I was really surprised at how good I was able to get it to sound. One section of the scratch was really brittle and thin, but I was able to add some chest to it, remove the upper end harshness and still give it some air. Another section of the scratch was really tubby and I was able to clean up the mud and give it a little top end without it getting all raspy.

The auto listen is a cool feature too. It solos the band when you are adjusting frequency or q.

I could see how the "shift" parameter could be useful when notching out a hum and it's harmonics as it adjusts the frequency of all the band simultaneously.

The range slider kind of confuses me. It sets the amount of gain/cut for all the bands, but it also adjusts the gain/cut of all the bands already set. So if you start at with the range set to 18dB, and you set a mid-range band to say +10dB, then you adjust the range slider to +36dB, your mid-range band now has a gain of 20dB. I can't quite see the use for that yet, but that doesn't mean it won't be essential to my workflow someday.

My other criticisms would be that there appears to be no way to click back to the default of the "Range", "Shift" and "Gain" (the on on the right side of the graph, not the individual bands).

At first glance, I'm very impressed. I'm going to try it out for a while more and unless there is some major flaw that hasn't surfaced I'll make the purchase.

Just to clarify:

Digital, Digital +, & Minimum Phase are all very low latency

Analogue & Linear have a 2 frame delay, so watch out with those two!

Just out of curiosity: What is it you don't like about Q10? For surgical I still like it al lot. I wouldn't want to boost anything with it though.
