Default Abit BH6 with a PIII-500. Enough?

Is my Abit BH6/PIII-500/512mb/Win2k setup powerful enough for a MIX system??

I'm tempted to buy a new Mac but would love to forgo the expense (not to mention a new OS).

Regards, James

Thanks Steve,
It looks like I should have no problems...my board is within the specs on Digi's compatability pages but 500mhz is a little long in the tooth these days. Since most everything is handled by onboard DSP, I guess that dosen't matter as much. Thanks for your helpfull reply. For a while, I custom built PCs commercially for folks so I don't forsee too much trouble whipping PT into shape.
Best Regards, James

I've used for several years Pro Tools LE under PIII500 with ABIT BE6+.

It went smooth with no problems.
Hell stable system still miss the mac plugs .

The only reason I switched is the RTAS concept that requires faster system and I needed more plugins but still not a fully blown mix.

It'll be fine.
