CEDAR has been doing a lot of research on voice isolation. They spun off another company working to bring the technology to the hearing impaired. Imagine VoiceX running real-time connected to a hearing aid. Pretty amazing thought especially if you have any people in your life with hearing problems.

Obviously I don't have any inside information on their technology but I wouldn't assume these tools are using the same "engine" or anything.

Likewise Accentize have been training models for production sound to improve the results.

The AI tools can each have better results on differing material so I end up trying several. So far I can't predict which will win but I've had worse things to complain about

If it's based on Artificial Intelligence algorithm, then it's been trained to achieve a human ear alike psychoacoustic focusing and noise filtering.
That's why I assumed the AI training might be quite similar.
Of course like with real sportsmen the training methods might be different.
But it's all speculations. The thing is when the euphoria passes that both VoiceEX and Accentize have artifacts (listen careful to their demos).
Accentize dxRevive Pro has serious artifacts starting at 25% (not at 90% like on "PT Experts" videos).
I love Cedar and own their DNS One which is still the best uniquely tuned for DX multi band gate / expander but unfortunately for them their Roles Royce exclusivity in noise reduction field has passed.
Yet DNS One is the only real time broadband NR plugin which DOES work in real time (without changing behavior on each playback path).

Tested the Cedar VoicEX, but it isn't 5 x better than Accentize DxRevive. Not even 1x.. It gives slightly different results, and VoicEX is a superb AI trained denoiser, but not really better than DxRevive. It doen's justify the price difference..

Totally agree Michael DNSOne is still great after all these years and does something special to dialogue that nothing else can IMHO.

The competition in AI plugins is only just beginning.
Imagine a plugin you could 'train' yourself to de-noise compress and EQ DX to your own personal taste.

Now that might be worth the big bucks.

There is a 21 day trial, but their Buy Now page goes to a 404, so not interested in testing until I know the price.
Because if it comes out at 1250 dollars, I'd skip the trial.

As far as I can tell, and I would love to be proved wrong, Hush Pro is Silicon compatible only, so those of us still on still on Intel Macs are out of luck.
