Default A-B-ing

I´ve recently heard about a technique referred to as `A-B-ing` that gives a more cinematic sound to your recording. Can anyone provide me with information on how to do this?

More "cinematic"? What does that even mean?

If you heard about it why not ask or look for more info there?

Google A-B or A/B and "audio mixing" or similar.

It's you just comparing two results/mixes. Maybe two you are working on, or what you are working on and a reference (professional) mix.

A-B ing just means : listen to 2 different sources alternatively in order to compare.

By "cinematic", I mean more like how a 14-channel-stereo film score sounds in a movie theater.
I've Googled this, and looked around, but I haven't found anything. It's a technique I once saw demonstrated using ProTools in a Dave Kusak video course he's selling.

Yes, that's what Dave Kusak appears to be doing in a video course he's selling, but he was somehow combining two final tracks to achieve a more spacious kind of sound. I'd like to try it, but I didn't understand. Naturally, you have to purchase the course to get the details!

That must be parallel compression
