Just get one of these and put your own drive in it. You can always put another one in there that's bigger. I did three of these and put Seagate drives in 'em (takes two seconds to just plug 'em in) - cost me $180 total to do a 400 gig.

Don't waste your money!

Metal Gear Box - $40 on Ebay, 400 Gig Seagate $130 on Ebay - very very very fast and very very stylish and very very cost efficient.
I have a rocstor 80 gig drive that I have been using with my MacBook Pro and PT 7.4 for about 8 months. Rock (or roc) solid, 32 tracks with many plug-ins (I have not run out of power yet) AND it's tiny. I have even whipped it out on long flights and done edits.

Default Rocstor drives..

I've had a total of 8 RocPro 400 drives over the past maybe 2-3 years.. All FireWire 400 with the Oxford 911 chipset and a Western Digital disk inside except one, which as a 400/800 combo and a 912 chipset.

I've had 2 drives fail, luckily just the cases not the internal disks.. One was within the year warranty and was repaired free the other was on me..

I love their functionality, internal PSU w/ IEC cable, no fans, quiet disks..
2 out of 8 failures over a 3 year span isn't bad in comparison to other drives I've had over the years.. various failures have claimed just about all other brands I've had one by one. However a couple Lacies and OWC cases I loaded disks into are still going strong.
