Default Avid Complete Plug-in Bundle

I have a Pro Tools (non-HD) Perpetual update license.

That comes with a lot (but not all) Avid plug-ins.

I was looking through the Avid plug-in guide and saw several I'd like to get.

I found the Avid complete plug-in bundle on the site for $49.99 for a one-year subscription. That says it includes over 75 plug-ins. This is not included with Perpetual licenses.

Is there a list anywhere where I can see what this includes that I don't already have?

I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it.

I'm also unsure as to whether I can mix a Perpetual license with a plug-in subscription.

Thanks for your reply, JFreak.

But I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying I already have everything other than the Aphex Bundle?

I should have looked further before posting; since then I found this, but I'm still a bit confused:

https://www.avid.com/plugins/avid-co...-plugin-bundle

I already have all the AIR Effects, Filters and Emulators, the Reverbs and Delays, as well as the Stompbox Effects.

I think the only thing that isn't included with Perpetual Licenses is the Dynamics and EQ bundle. I've never seen any of the Fairchilds or Pultecs.

Complete bundle really has everything, except Aphex which is licensed differently

OK, thanks.

So really all I'd be paying for would be the Dynamics and EQ bundle since it appears I have everything else.

On the FAQ page I read that this is a separate install that doesn't show up in the license manager.

If I went for this would I have worry about repopulating all my presets?

For example, this includes the Gray compressor, for which I have presets. Would the complete bundle install overwrite my presets folder? (This is just one example of many.)

I dont think installer will overwrite your custom presets. And the complete installer shows up on your Avid Account if you have paid for it

No problem. That complete installer is a godsend when you reinstall

I can relate. I recently moved to Windows 10 Pro (clean install) and to 2020.3 from 12.8.3.

I'm meticulous in general, had backups of everything, but I still discovered that I apparently hadn't imported all of my custom presets. I discovered that custom EQ 3.0 presets weren't there: the EQ plugin showed my preset settings, but were all listed as 'factory default.'

If you have a perpetual license, and want almost all the plug-ins Avid offers, then get the Avid Complete Plug-in Bundle. Why? Because all the plug-ins you think are included in your perpetual license aren't. When you go to look at the included plugins you see what is included in Avid's Subscription for Pro Tools because they don't want to sell perpetual licenses anymore, and the Subscription includes the stock plug-ins and the Complete Bundle.

And the fine print: "Avid HEAT and Aphex Aural Exciter and Big Bottom Pro are not included in the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle."
