Default Patchbay design utility/software

Hello,

Does anyone know of a software utility that can help design and layout a patchbay system?

I'm tearing through colored pencils and graph paper over here!

Thanks for any input.

I use Excel, fiddle with the dimensions to make it fit

Thanks for the input.

I actually started with excel but found with all the notes about cable length and connector type, paper was actually easier. That is, until you start rearranging things...

Thanks again.

part is personal work flow, I like to get all my points laid out and organized for function/growth before I get to cable lengths

I use OmniGraffle for all kinds of layouts:

It might not be deep enough for your use, but it's easy to use and looks great.
