Default Multiple versions of PT

Is it possible to run PT 2019.10.0 with PT12.x on the same partition? In using PT2019 MacOS 10.12.6 I just discovered that my 32-bit AU/VST plugs SoundRadix converted x64 wrapped in BC Patchwork AAX are not loading, presumably because PT2019 is exclusively 64-bit (?). Previous PT12.x versions allowed these to load. Or perhaps there is a provision in PT2019 to allow these plugins to load?

Thanks for the input!

I have Pro Tools 12.8.3, 2018.1, 2018.4, 2018.7, 2018.12, 2019.6, 2019.10 and 2019.12 installed on my system.
I also have quite a few 32 bit plugins wrapped via 32 Lives and hosted in Patchwork.
I just checked and they all seem to be working fine in 2019.12.
I was able to happily use NI Spektral Delay, Lexicon Resonant Chords and Izotope Spectron without any issues.
Maybe try trashing your Pro Tools preferences or try re wrapping with 32 Lives?

great to hear that it's working in your system! I have been using 32Lives and likewise enjoy the early NI and iZ plugins including the LinPlug line. I'll trying the PT pref trash. Thanks!

No problem. Good luck!

Sound Radix have confirmed that 32 Lives won't work with Catalina.

I'll miss some of those plugins when I (finally) upgrade to that OS.
