Default There HAS to be a better way

I upgraded the S6 to 2023_6. Offline activation has failed. I have had this happen before and it is maddening. Something is screwy with my System ID on the Avid system. Tech support usually sorts it out BUT it takes FOREVER. There HAS to be a better way to manage licenses. Online activation is not an option and even if it were, the failure is something on the Avid system that is wrong, so online activation wouldn't work either. To render my system unusable is just ridiculous

I agree it is less than ideal. Please PM me if you are still stuck and can't get it licensed.

best,

Jeff

I'm good now. Support had to deactivate my console and then license it again.
It seems to me that the offline license file should live in my account on my.avid.com
The license file should be deposited there when the support plan is renewed. There's no reason to go through the current activation process. It's redundant and cumbersome.
