It is true! We have changed the pricing for Spill and made it a perpetual license. Thank you for all your feedback! Also, there is a 25% off December special. Spill costs just $99 and includes one year free of V-Control Pro Bundle.

Tom Marks, CAS, is mixing season 2 of Sense8 with it and loving how much time he saves.

I posted an Avid blog all about Spill. http://www.avidblogs.com/spill-plug-...ign-pro-tools/

Happy Holidays,
Paul

Hey Paul,

Just checking out the demo before I jump in. Just something I noticed is the mapping on the D-control is coming up as LRCLsRs but it is LCRLsRs on the plugin so it's a bit annoying when you keep reaching for the wrong fader! Perhaps I am doing something wrong? EDIT* I figured out that it correctly maps on a 5.1 track but not on a 5.0 track. Also sometimes some of the faders are purple while others are yellow but I can't figure out why? It seems random to me. Every time you put a new instance on a track different faders are either purple or yellow.

Thanks

Garret

Thanks Garret. We just confirmed the surface mapping error you spotted in 5.0 tracks in D-Control and have fixed it. Thank you for spotting that!

Regarding the inconsistent control coloring, I think we found the problem but it is a bit difficult to know for certain without a D-Control in our possession.

I will contact you to see if you can quickly try a new beta with fixes.

Paul

Just to let everyone know that Paul sent me a new beta and I can confirm that both issues are fixed now. The mapping is now correct for both 5.0 and 5.1. The colour issue is also fixed so now the colour scheme is : In Read mode; Plugin faders are green. When mapped to Control surface Plugin faders are Purple.
In Write/Latch/Touch mode; Plugin in faders are red. When mapped to Control surface Plugin faders are Yellow.
Also when it is mapped to the control surface faders the track mutes can be used to link the channels. Handy.
Now that is quick service! Thanks Paul!
