unless i dont understand your question, buy headphones with an 1/8" plug rather than 1/4"

Are you talking about the actual audio output level? At first glance, "a small headphone output" could be confused as talking about the actual jack, but the headphone jacks on both are the same size.

What source are you using to compare the output? (mp3 playback? CD playback? Audio program playback?)
Are you using the same audio source to compare both?
To what value have you set the headphone output knob? (on both the fireface and the mini)
Are you using the same set of phones to monitor?

Disregard my previous reply. I read it fast and thought you were talking about the actual jack (which turns out to actually be 1/4").

Please give more info on what your actual problem is.

Sorry folks, I'm still rolling on the floor laughing at this one. You gotta see the humor in it though.

. . . as in the headphone output volume is low?

I would laugh, however, I myself have asked much funnyer questions here.

Sorry for my confusing question, I meant the output level of course. In comparison to my rme fireface 400 it's very very low. Sorry for the late answer I was on holiday and didn't get an email notification
that you have replied. By the way i have had a huge latency too.
