Default Bumps and ticks w/ plugins inserts and bounce

PT 8 TDM HD3 Accel Macpro 8 core 3.0G w/ 8G RAM. I've noticed especially when sessions got pretty intensive in terms of use of resources (TDM and RTAS plugins / buses / tracks / etc.) I'm experiencing loud bumps and clicks when inserting or deleting plugins, change bus assignments and before BTD starts. Is this normal ? Nothing major but pretty annoying. It didn't happen to me when I was on G5 PT7 HD4. Thanks

Thank you criz, I'll give it a try, it was what I was thinking too; also sometimes just closing and reopening the session solves the problem. Thank you
