Default PT 7.4 on Leopard for those who dare..

I said a week ago that will keep you posted while trying to see how PT works on Leopard. If a week ago i said it looks fine..now I found a bunch of problems. Beside the Xpand apering yellow, midi problems while conecting on Motif and S90, there are some troubles with the click ( sometimes while the click is on the recording audio track is inaudible). Somebody mentioned that using extra plugins may crush the PT. That's true. I installed Amplitube2 and working with one track was ok, 2 ok, but from 3 tracks up...my digi 003 just goes offline.

I hope you guys can also post your findings.

PS: I used Cubase until now, there when you chosse "click in precount" it means that the click is starting for a number of measures, and then the recording can start. The way I see it in PT...I just don't get it. I choosed 2 bars of countoff, but when I hit the record/play, the click starts...and the tracks are recording Any help?

Digi 003, Mac Pro 2008, PT csu4.

Dude there's updates for Xpand, Strike, and Hybrid as well as Structure, Velvet and some others for Leopard. I have been running Leopard 10.5.1 Since the first day I got my new 2008 Dual Quad and Pro Tools 7.4CS3 is just fine. I have tons of tracks running with plugs in real-time and it's flawless.

I sometimes run 12 hour recording sessions and it's perfect.

Yes, I've been running PT 7.4cs3 with Leopard, mostly works fine.

Now, the new $100 question: is everything still running happy with 7.4cs3 if you upgrade to Leopard 10.5.3? (And don't upgrade to that beta version of PT 7.4.2 that Digi is offering!)

thanks,
Leigh
