My HEAD Really Hurts these days! Every shutdown we get an error

In all honesty I am really thinking it could be a plugin causing havoc as we do have quite a few there but never in the sessions. I will start there as you said and really investigate. Need to rinse out the plugin folders anyway as we only need the few VI and PI we actually use. No one need 500+ comps and eq’s half azzed emulated anyway when we have 50+ outboards with original HW units plugins are based off so I am on a clean-up mission today! Good riddence haha

As you know plugs don't have to be in the session to cause problems! just in the cache which fills when you boot PT, so yeah purge your plugins folder.

Yeah maybe our Macs and PT is trying to do a social distance shutdown but have a weird obnoxious ”Commander inside The Box” thing that just throw spanners in the works making PT and Mac Pro take different sides

Yeah and if PT load up like 400-500 plugins and there is a bad Apple in there we missed then it might have been there for some time now causing these errors following system changes with the new Mac Pro’s aswell.

I just reinstalled all the plugins from scratch but never really looked at the versions and if there were updates. Just keeping plugins updated is a fulltime husstle and would rather paint my neighbours garage as I am annoyed at the color everytime I drive by his otherwise stupendous house

I seem to remember that I had the same issue about a year ago. Went on for a few months. Turns out that for me it was Izotope. I have v4 in my installed plugins, tho I never used them. I dumped them & issue went away.

interesting... absolutely no issues with Slate stuff. I have a all-access subscription and a Raven.

Had same issue with Eiosis EQ when I removed it no shutdown error. and I told them and they said it was my computer so I started using bluecat with the vst version. then I decided to update and everything was good

Thanks Thats great info and as Johan also had Eiosis sink his setup I will remove that first and see if it disappears somewhat. Thank you again
