is 10 supported on lion?

so is PT10 compatible with lion 10.7.2? I have PT9 and apparently I get free upgrade but I can't find any info about lion support. I mean 9 isn't even fully supported yet so whats the go with 10?? I don't want it if its all gone screw up.

if 10 is lion ready, how come avid didn't release lion ready 9.0.6 or something at the same time?

Where 9.0.5 was a public beta version, 10.0.0 is fully supported.

Im paralysed by fear to upgrade from 10.7.1 to 10.7.2 or from PT9 to 10. Every time I upgrade anything it usually breaks.
Everything is working fine for me except for that play issue thing so is there a need to upgrade anything?

Whether or not you need to upgrade is entirely your decision.

If you do decide to upgrade...

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP.

Time Machine works just fine. Create a backup of your current system, then do your updates. If everything is broken, just open time machine and go back. Easy and stress relieving.
