Question Question about adding more RAM to my overclocked PC!

What's up?! So I have a Q6600 mildly overclocked to 3.0GHz and the thing is 100% stable and runs amazingly. I only have 4GB of RAM installed which has been fine for running Pro Tools and Reason and such. But I have just purchased Maschine and Komplete, and the Komplete instruments use a lot of RAM. If I add another 4GB of the same exact RAM, is it gonna screw with my OC settings? I don't remember OC'ing the ram. I'm pretty sure I just set the RAM timings correctly and only OC'ed the processor. Can't remember exactly. I followed a guide specifically for my processor and mobo, but it was almost 2 years ago!

Anyway, here is the specific RAM I currently have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231318

Second question. Do you guys think 8GB is enough RAM? Not trying to go overkill! Just want something sufficient! What about this 16GB kit (even though it seems overkill, the price is right)?: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231442

The rest of my build is in my sig! Thanks!

It should go in without issue, but on first boot, go into BIOS and make sure all 4 slots are set for the correct timings AND voltage. I would check that with only the original setup, then shut down, add the new RAM and go right back into BIOS for a look.
