Default New system: any cautionary notes w PT 11?

I have ordered a new system, going to Windows10, w 16 gig ram, SSD, 7 core etc. Should have more capacity, speed, etc. than existing system.
Anything I should know about migrating the system over? Potential re-install problems, glitches, etc? Can I create a similar-named folder and transfer program files via flash drive, or do I have to re-install via download, etc?

So-
Does this chart mean PT11 hasn’t been vouched for Windows 10? The link to the article is a dead end.

And PT11 will not be updated passed 11.3.2 so you will have to upgrade to a PT12 option if you want support and knowing it works. PT11 is over 4 years old by now.

Correct, 11.x is unsupported (untested) on Windows 10.

Sorry about that. Fixed the link to the 11.3.2 page.

Using PT 12 on my home computer, and see few real advantages over 11. I have two licenses because I will surely lose my iLock going back and forth- I had 11 on home and studio for a while and routinely left it at the other place before I bought a license (which by that time was 12) for my home use. Is Windows 7 so shakey that I should get away from it? I have the occasional crash but who knows if its Win 7, Pt11, glitch-riddled board or just reacting to memory, speed and capacity limits?

...then I need to ask:
Anybody know of anyone who has used PT11 with Win 10? If so how has (did) it worked out?
