Cab sims on one output but not the other?

If using the 11R with a power amp and guitar cabinet I know you wouldn't use the cab sims but is is possible to have cab sims on for the feed you send to the mixer? So output to guitar amp, no cab sim. Output to FOH, cab sim on. If not how would you work around this? Mic it up?

Yes, this is possible by setting one of the "Outputs to Amp" to "Amp Output" in the User Option page and running that into your guitar amp/cab. This will tap into the signal right before the cab model, and the main outputs will still have the cab model included. The main limitation with this approach is that the "Outputs to Amp" will not have any post amp effects.

Thanks Chris. Does this mean that I couldn't have any eq, delay or reverb for example right after the 11R preamp and that they'd have to go before the preamp in the chain?
