Pro Tools LE 8 working with Lion

I have upgraded to Lion 10.7.2 and my pro tools LE 8.0.4 seems to be working perfectly. From what I have seen on forums this is not supposed to happen. Has there been a change in compatibility? or is it a fluke liable to suddenly come undone and stop working? I am thinking of upgrading to PT 10

It seems like the jury's not out yet on this one... Some have had trouble, some say it's working fine.
If you plan to upgrade anyway just enjoy the ride while it lasts!

Thanks Greg. I am wondering if you know of any issues with people upgrading LE 8.0.4 to PT 10 in Lion? PT is working right now but I have the chance to upgrade now and if PT craps out later on I may not be able to then. Or could the upgrade option even disappear in the future?

I m on 8.0.5 with Lion on a macbook pro and have had no real problems.

My fingers are crossed. So far everything is working just like 8.0.1 did on my G5.

I upgraded to Lion without thinking last week. I haven't gotten a chance to work extensively with Pro Tools, yet - I have PTLE 8.0.4 - but I tested a few plugins with my midi controller and everything seems to be okay.

Lion did automatically throw some of my Digidesign MIDI plugins into an "incompatible software" folder. But it's seemingly had no effect.

Some people also mentioned that fixes to get their MIDI reworking in PT screwed up Garageband and other applications. I only have PT and Garageband, but Garageband works fine as well.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the bottom doesn't fall out on me, but so far so good.

Okay, it now seems like maybe it's frakked. When I playback by session, the MIDI playback lags and is out of sink with the regular audio tracks...

I wonder if this is the excuse I need to crossgrade to PT10. Well played Avid.
