PLEASE HELP!! Audio Suite crashes/TDM plug-ins work?

My computer crashes every time I use the audio suite for a plug-in. However, If I try to use the TDM plug-ins, they work fine.

Can someone help?

The same thing happened to me the first time I used an AS plug under Pro-Tools 6.0.1. It gave me the greyout screen.
Than after the restart everything was fine!

Make sure all of your drives have been formatted with Disk Utility in OS X as HFS+ volumes. Drives formatted in OS 9 or with other utilities should be backed up and reinitialized with Disk Util. Also, try the following:

-Trash Pro Tools preferences Go to Users > “your user name” > Library > Preferences and trash DAE Prefs, DigiSetup.OSX and Pro Tools LE 6.0 prefs. Then restart the CPU.


-Quit Pro Tools and launch Apple's "Disk Utility" application. Select your boot volume, go to First Aid and select "Repair Disk Permisions." Apple recommends doing this any time an OS update or reinstall is done with OS X.
