Default Mouse Shortcut?

Does anybody know how to set up my scroll/click button on my mouse so that it does the Separate region comand(Control+E)? Or is this even possible. The reason I ask is because I seen a guy running 6.4 on a 002 powerbook with a (Houston?) mouse. He had editing shortcuts programmed onto the buttons on the mouse. I was just wondering if we could do that on the pc side.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Yes, you can do that on PC. I have my Microsoft Intellimouse programmed to switch between mix and edit screens etc. Many mice have programing software that come with them. You may be able to use the Microsoft mouse software to program yours even if it's not a Microsoft mouse. Worth a shot at least.

Try here....
