Re: Timeline Prob!!!!!!!!
silly you unlinked your edit and timeline selections.
the fast way to fix this is to type a question mark in the edit window ( shift + / ) there's a button under your edit tools that will toggle this feature too, but I dunno if I can describe it well. it has arrows and lines and dots... it's weird. search the manual for " link timeline and edit " |

Re: Timeline Prob!!!!!!!!
For the record pressing 'n' toggles this setting on and off so it's easy to accidentally mis hit it.
Cheers

Re: Timeline Prob!!!!!!!!
umm...
I'm pretty sure "n" in keyboard focus makes timeline insertion follow playback. This is different from link timeline and edit. iow link timeline and edit (shift + /) links the two selections so that your edit cursor also dictates where playback will be. timeline insertion follows playback ("ctl + n" or "n" in key focus) will make the timeline selection/cursor update to the point where playback stopped instead of returning to the original playback position. i think. |
