Logging in to confirm that the above suggestions worked.

Also, I've looked into it and for those wondering, there is no easy downgrade from High Sierra to Sierra due to the new APFS file system Apple implemented and the previous were on the HFS+.

For now this will work.

its not a matter of m-audio quality or whatever. as consumers we have the right to use what we've payed for.
