Protools Shutting Down - Help!!!!
I keep getting this message that PT is out of memory and is shutting down, which it does. I am running V5.1 on 9600, 224 megs RAM, g3300mgz, Sampleccell direct connect into PT.
I have 80 mgs ram alocatted to PT [email protected] |

-Make sure that you have not altered the Minimum memory sizes of DAE and/or Pro Tools. If you have, reset the DAE Minimum size to 30000k and Pro Tools Minimum to 35320k.
-Trash the DigiSetup File, Pro Tools preference, and DAE prefs (the entire folder) from the System Folder>Preferences folder. Empty the Trash and restart the Mac. When you go back into Pro Tools, do so from the Pro Tools Application Icon and not by double clicking on a session. -If this behavior is specific to one session (or even alternate copies of the same session), it may be corrupt. Create a new session and use the File>Import Tracks command to transfer the tracks into the new session. Brent |
