Default Problem Pro Tools 10 "Dividing by zero"

Hello to all ! I have been using Pro tools 10 for 4 years now, and I just had a big problem overnight.

When I launch pro tools, it works correctly (loading plugs, launching the software) But as soon as the plugs have finished loading, it displays a tab with "Can not realize your request because an integer error Produced (division by zero) and after pro tools stops. This is really very strange.

Ps: I bought Pro tools 10 legally.

Thank you in advance, :)

Absent further system info and going by what's on your profile page (if that's accurate) you're trying to use PT10 on Windows 10 and the two are NOT compatible according to this chart: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...tibility-Chart
You're going to have to upgrade to PT12.

I'm going to have to disagree with this assessment, as I use PT10 on a Windows 10 system every day, and have for several years.

You may well be lucky but it's beyond what Avid says and once you go outside that don't be surprised when (not if but when) you have problems. And don't expect sympathy from anyone here.

Actually, that's not true. The link you provided only shows what Avid has TESTED, not what is compatible. The fact that they don't test something doesn't make it, by default, incompatible. They just don't spend time testing things outside the most recent releases. MANY untested configurations work just fine.

It is true - once you get beyond what Avid says is known to work don't expect to have smooth sailing. It may work, it may not but don't be surprised & come crying when things go south.

Because you're running an operating system that is not meant for PT.

As said before is not supported by Avid . In my case i used it everyday too with no problem at all . PT12 and PT10 . Im on windows 10pro lastest build version .

Do you have all the optimizations done ? Please double check them !

Try launch PT while holding down letter "N" on your keboard and check/select other sound card when you see the screen just for testing .
