Care to give us more details? Does it have to do anything with a controller? If yes, it's just a cristmas mode to show off the lights and the faders.

Vegas mode is what they use in music videos to make the producers look like they're really REALLY good. All of the faders move (most likely in a wave pattern) and all of the LEDs go crazy. The actual reason for it is to test that all of your LEDs are working (not burnt out) and that your faders are working smoothly and accurately.

(On a 002), you can get to it by going into Standalone Mode>Utility>Test>Vgas

Similar on the C|24, probably with the Pro Control too.

yes ... Pro control and the Icon controllers have a 'vegas' mode.On D control in a dark room is kinda impressive.

It's basically a test utility that moves and flickers everything there is to move or flicker at the same time.

Why can´t we get a Vegas mode for PT?
I mean it´s important to see if all software LEDs and faders are working OK.

Cheers Wolfgang

Command 8 has Utility function that will light all LEDs. No fader wave movement.
Hit the Utility button, it's pretty straightforward.

I just checked. The c8 has something called burn in. it's kind like vergas mode but the faders don't wave. They just all move at once. Looks cool thou.
