No Echo Farm AAX?

I would also pay a small fee to have Echo Farm & Amp Farm available for HDX formats, either DSP or Native.

What's interesting, is that these are some of the only plugins that Avid actually lists as not being AAX compatible, yet they are still available for purchase or rental on their Avid store site here.

Yes avid, I use echo farm on EVERY mix. please let us know about this one... Surely for 100$ upgrade fee, you'd have at LEAST 1000 users who buy it (probably more like 10,000) so your looking at $100,000-$1,000,000 of sales just to port one plugin... Seriously can't find a guy in India to handle this one at a discount?

I wonder if there's a Line 6 licensing problem. Perhaps we need to make some noise over there also. I really don't care who does it, just so long as it gets done. I would be cool to buy the plug in AAX Dsp format from whoever will do this - it appears this is old code and it may need recreating from scratch. We just need forward / backwards settings compatability. add whatever features you want, but I'm cool with it as is

Agree with everyone. Even if they have to recode it, they will still make money from upgrades and future buyers. Win situation for them. I can't see anyone not wanting Echo Farm in the future, especially for recalls.

And Pod Farm is nowhere near as close as echo farm period. I don't even want to hear them tell me to use that. Forget it.

Put me down for the paid upgrade.

Line 6 has nothing to do with Echo Farm, Amp Farm, etc. because they sold the rights to Digi years ago. Avid/Digi is responsible for any maintainence or updates.

So - what's the best way to get this word to people at Avid that actually make decisions? Not sure they are actively reading the forums these days.

I've got HDX ordered for shipment mid December - I'd really love to know I can recall mixes I've done over the last year - let alone mixes I finished in November!
