Default Dropping out of Touch/Latch Primed Knob Parameters

I'm noticing a discrepancy in the way to drop out of Latch Primed parameters between Latch and Touch/Latch mode when the transport is not rolling.

If I'm in Latch mode/not rolling and I mistakenly automate a knob parameter, I can back out of this by hitting the F button for that strip.

However in Touch/Latch, if I mistakenly automate a knob parameter, hitting the F button proceeds to cycle to the next automation mode (Off) for that strip.

This seems like a bit of an oversight or something that was missed. It's a real drag as it's easy to accidentally prime a knob by accident. Has anyone figured out a workaround? Could it be addressed in a future update?

Greetings,

I just tested this on my system and it is allowing me to match out whether in Latch or Touch/Latch automation mode. It's very likely this was a bug that was addressed. Please let us know your versions of Pro Tools and S6.

best,

Jeff

Pro Tools 12.8.1
S6 3.7.0.134

I'll ask tech to make sure we are on the latest version and will test again.

Thanks!

I was mistaken. Still seeing the problem here. Will try in 12.9 when it comes out.
