peak meters on rec track dont work during playback
ive noticed something in PT thats kind of limiting. when im setting up to record i can use the peak meters to make sure my signal isnt clipping. as soon as i start normal playback to warmup or practice before laying down the actual track the peak meters no longer respond. but if im recording they start to work again.
is their anyway to see your peak meters on your record enabled track during normal playback ACK

Thats because you're set to Auto Input Monitoring. Change it to Input Only and you will always see your meters.

I answered this in your other post in another thread but, You want to select Input Only Monitor in Operations.

It's also best to set your meters to pre-fader when recording and post-fader when playing back.
