Slow functions on the Artist Control w/ PT Control

I noticed in using my Artist Control with the Pro Tools Control on my iPad that there is noticeable latency with the faders and other functions on my Artist Control. Is there any way to have both of these, yet having no latency?

Artist Control and Control App are not supposed to be used together. One or the other.

That was fixed a long time ago. It was only the mix and the control app first but i think it was ovr two years ago Eucon fixed that so you can use both.

thanks Chris, do you know why it would be latent then? I have all the lastest revisions. I tried restarting everything.

That could be lots of things so I will ping Eddie as he will know more about the settings etc. We had 4 artist units before we traded up and they all worked alongside the Control app perfectly so something is amiss if you have latency.

How is the Artist Control connected to the computer and if you run WiFi what Ghz is the router if you use one?

Chris, I'm using an Apple AirPort Extreme 54 Mbps 3-Port, for about the last 3 years. It has worked fine for that time, pretty much.

The Control is connected to that router.

Yes we see this here. I can't get it into the next release as we are just finishing it up right now, but will try for the next release early next year.
