No Sound Coming Out

Hello

I have Pro Tools 10 HD.
When I try to play around with Kontakt 5 I just dont hear sound coming out. Once there was sound coming out but when I closed and opened it again - no sound. How could this be?

and, have you checked to see if your interface is actually the selected audio engine?

In addition to what the others wrote have you checked the output routing of whatever kind of track you're using to host Kontakt 5? If you're hosting on an audio track you need to record enable that track to hear whatever's coming out of K5. That's why it's good to host instrument plugins on either Instrument or aux tracks.

K5 opens with no instruments loaded unless it's in a saved session. It's the only NI instrument that opens without any sound patch.
