"midi server" related problem (maybe)

Hi, it's my first post:
First my set-up:
MacBook Pro 2,16Ghz; 2 GB ram; OS X 10.4.6 / PT LE 7.1.1; Mbox 2 / M-audio Axiom 25 / Reason Adapted 3.0.5 / Live Lite 6.0.7
I've updated Live from Lite 5, to Lite 6.0.7 and now when i try to use it in rewire PT crashes!
before the update both Live and Reason worked correctly, now Reason seems to be still working correctly in rewire with PT...
I've just noticed that checking the "activity monitoring" at a certain point a voice named "midi server" become red, and "not responding", and then also PT seems to have midi problem...
I've already asked help to Ableton, and Digi support, also in other italian forum....nothing!
Ableton told me to upgrade to PT 7.3 because 7.1 it's not Mac-Intel compatible (?????)
Some guys told me to update to OS X 10.4.8, and PT 7.3, because it's "better"...ok i'll do it but i think this is not the problem....maybe it's related to the Axiom??
I'll see if there's something to update also on the M-audio website.
If you have any ideas, or suggestion: I'll be very thankful!
