WTH happened to my waveforms?

It's a little hard to tell from this screenshot, but my waveforms are suddenly looking more pixelated or something. The lines are all a lot thinner and it's nothing to do with changing the size with that little button in the top corner.
I don't know what happened.
I was just working as usual and I think I hit some random key or something, as I occasionally do, and suddenly all the waveforms changed. There's a decrease in the fullness of the images. This is going to make editing really weird and perhaps more difficult.
I tried pressing each different key on the keyboard to see if I could make it go back, and scoured the View and Clip menus but couldn't find any way to fix it.
Anybody know what's up here?

View>Waveforms>Outlines

make sure that is checked.

99% sure that's your issue.

Defaults checked are: Peak, Outlines, Overlapped Crossfades. All other unchecked.
