Default Digimax Digital Mayhem

I've done a cursory search, but haven't seen this exact problem.

Digimax in to a 002. Both units and Pro Tools session are set to 48k.

Additionally, a focusrite stereo pre is being used via inputs 7&8.

The armed tracks from the Digimax are immediately causing horrendous digital clipping. This is with the gain at 0. The Focusrite tracks ar functioning perfectly.

By deductive reasoning;

PTLE- working fine
002- working fine
Focusrite-working fine

Digimax- not so much.

I assume this is a lightpipe problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciatted.

Thanks,

Jace

Really?

I thought with light pipe it either worked or didn't work at all.

What the hell... I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Anyone else?

Try using the digimax at another sampling rate. make sure you are using the clock of the digimax. if not it might be the crystal converters in the digimax, happened to me.
