Default Mbox 2, PT 12, Mavericks

I was recently forced to purchase the newest version of Pro Tools, as the old Macbook that I was doing audio work on finally gave up the ghost. I was previously running version 8 with an Mbox 2.
So I spent $300 I could barely afford on the 1 year subscription version of PT 12 because my current OS, Mavericks, isn't cool with earlier versions.
The program seems to run fine but my Mbox 2 isn't being recognized by this machine and I can't find any drivers for it, only Mbox 3 and Mbox 2 Pro.
Am I screwed? Do I have to spend more money I don't have on a new interface or are there any drivers lurking around that can solve my problem?

Macbook OS 10.9.5
2.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
8 GB RAM
Pro Tools Version 12.0
Mbox 2 (USB)

Hey groovilator - The Mbox 2 is untested with Pro Tools 12 (see this) but you could try the 10.3.9 Driver from the Mbox 2 Drivers page for Mavericks.

Also, you might still be able to find an "Upgrade from Pro Tools LE" through one of our resellers if you want a perpetual license.

Hey, it worked! Thank you!
Now I'm wondering why there are no AIR plugins with the new version. Things like spring reverb and stereo widener were really nice but I will especially miss the modulation plugins. No phaser, no chorus, makes me sad.
Is there a bundle I can snag somewhere for that? It seems silly to come out with upgrades that have fewer features.
